Have you ever wondered, “What resources do I need for my KidMin classroom?”
Stocking classrooms for birth – 5th grade can be a little overwhelming. And, of course, church budgets do not go very far. So, when you stop to think that most KidMin curriculum resources do not come with everything you need, it can be a little daunting to decide where to spend your money.
For a while now, I’ve wanted to create an online one-stop-shop for ministers looking for supplies and ideas for their classrooms. After attending conferences, reading a lot of Bible class how-to books over the years, and browsing Pinterest for most of my career, I have some ideas to share!
So, let me invite you to my Facebook group Resources for Children’s Ministers and Christian Parents. In this group, I am posting links to resources, along with a short note about the resource. Many links are from Amazon and since I’m an Amazon affiliate, if you order, I may make a bit of money back. But, I’m also posting links to other KidMin resources, ministries, and tools.
I’m tagging the resources by topic so that you can easily browse some of the ideas and webpages. Follow the Facebook Group and share it with your friends.
In addition to classroom resources, I will offer links to books that I find helpful. For instance, there are a lot of children’s Bibles on the market, how do you choose one? Which ones should you recommend to parents? And, why? Some questions I will answer here on the blog while providing short tid-bits in the Facebook group.
How many of you love to purchase books! What about the children’s ministry books on the market? There are so many to chose from! Where should you spend your money? I’ll post good deals and recommendations as I find them so that you can build your KidMin resource library.
Finally, if you are looking for a particular KidMin resource, let me know. If I have some ideas, I’ll post it to the group.
Well, I hope that you find this helpful. Happy resource hunting!
